Cashmere Long Staple Yarn
Normally Cashmere is woollen spun as 99% of Cashmere is short staple, this does not make a strong or stable yarn and will be prone to excess pilling
Thus we have focused in developing worsted long staple yarn to overcome this. These in Lace and DK weights. In adding Mulberry Silk to the blended yarn we are adding strength, sheen and softness with greater suitability for the rigours of dyeing.
Our New Merino Cashmere Superchunky blends are our softest handling yarns to date
The worsted spinning system gives a stronger, more uniform yarn, sleek and super soft and most suitable for hand dyeing.
